My Voice Experience

Produced and acted as telent for a local NBC affiliate KSL produced spot for Sugarland's new album release.

Produced PSA's for a local radio reading service for the blind acting as engineer, producer and talent.

Acted as talent, producer, composer of music, and engineer for spots for the Utah State Library.

My Training

I have a year and a half experience working with the Utah State Library for the Blind's in house radio station that provided blind patrons with access to daily, weekly, and monthly publications with automated playlists for live broadcast and running broadcast audio boards. In fact, I was with the State of Utah five years. The first position I had with the state was working under the Department of Community and Culture for the Utah State Library.

I have experience with writing and utilizing automated playlists, general radio control mixing boards, and I have extensive experience with audio and video editing. In addition to my radio experience, I have my own in house recording studio where I utilize Logic Pro (which I am fluent, and proficient in), as well as other sound equipment. I also have experience with Pro Tools, Cubase, and Goldmine (a simplified single channel recording DAW). I also have experience working with Digital Bytes (a local video production house) and with AMC and Mark J Marraccini during the 2011 Sundance Film Festival. I have also been hired by local television and radio stations (such as the local NBC affiliate KSL for instance) to do voiceover work, and commercial advertisement acting.

As well as the recording, video, and radio experience I have, I received my degree in English through the University of Utah. I have experience writing PSA's, and with my writing background from my degree, I can easily write for promotional purposes. At the University of Utah, I also studied Italian, and while it's a little rusty now, I could easily pick up where I left off conversationally.

Currently, I have a part time position teaching at the School of Rock in Sandy, UT where I teach kids the fundamentals of playing and performing music. As a musician and a performer myself, I love to teach my students about what I've learned over the course of my musical career.
