Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects
It's hard to define, but once I hear a voice I can mimic that voice after a few runs. I am deep voiced naturally, but I can throw that range all around to fit any scene. Be it foriegn or other, I can do it.
My Voice Experience
AS of now... none! But I was picked to do the voice as the Man-Eating Plant in the cartoon version of "The Little Shop Of Horrors", until it got canceled in the 90's.
My Training
I have been a music producer & songwriter since 1989, I was signed to Rondor Music Publishing in 1993, until Universal Music took over. Now it's all under Universal Music Publishing. I have talked with Kurt Kelly about doing vocie over work & he has been a tremendous help to me so far. And being that I have a studio at home, it makes things a lot easier for me to get projects done.
My Studio Equipment
I have my own studio, I use Pro Tools, Reason 4, Fruity Loops 9, Goldwave. I still like my analog sound so I still use a Tascam 4 track cassette recorder, Tascam DA- 20 MK II DAT recorder as well. I have close to $650,000 worth of plugins on my computer including SSL. Everything I produce is done right here at home.
Additional Skills
I am a studio rat, I am a Television & radio junkie. Meaning... I am always listening to new voices to see if I can mimic them. I change my voicemail recordings constantly to see if when someone calls, they hang up because they think they have the wrong number. And I love going through drive thru windows and distort my voice to get a reaction out of the employees. Mainly, I am well versed in all professional recording aspects, I started creating voice characters when I was 8 years old, I am 43 now.
