I am told that my voice is best described as a "conversational announce", a versatile mid-baritone, with an age range of 20s-late 30s. People say that my voice sounds smart, sexy, warm, playful, and approachable. I can play a "regular guy", but I have a very pliable voice and can play a wide range of characters, as well.

My Voice Experience

My experience is mostly in Theatre, so I have a strong acting background. This gives my read a very organic, realistic feel.

My Training

Bachelor of Arts from University at Albany, Minor in Theatre, with an Acting Concentration. Coursework included Fundamentals of Acting, Scene Study, Voice, Movement, Characterization, Shakespeare, etc.
Also studied at Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute, as well as privately with Debra Wiley.
Voiceover workshop and private coaching with Sara Krieger.
Voiceover workshop with Lisa Fischoff (Casting Director with Broadcasters), and Elizabeth Bunnell (Casting Director with Liz Lewis).

My Studio Equipment

I have a Yeti Blue mic (with a pop filter) connected directly to my PC, and I use Audacity to create mp.3 files, which can then be sent electronically or via US mail. I also use plug-in software to clean up the recordings, making them sound as professional as possible.

I also have a relationship with a professional engineer, who has a state of the art studio in NYC. (I've worked with him on previous projects.)
