Voice Description
Characters are my joy and specialty, specifically odd-sounding creature-like characters that might be used in cartoons or CG movie roles. Anything from cute and fuzzy gremlins to demonic cess-ridden beasts is fair game. Imagination is the name of the game, so if you have a good one, we will work well together.
My regular speaking voice consists of a rather newscast-neutral accent with a smooth, mid-range to high timber. My voice is not deep nor rough, though I can alter it to sound as such.
I am able to do a great Slovic accent, as well as a cockneyed Brit accent, ala the orcs from Lord of the Rings or Burke Dennings from The Exorcist. The stereotyped "gay" accent also finds itself a steady position in my arsenal, for which I do a couple different characters. Just don't ask me to roll my R's, if you ask me to roll my R's, I'll cut you man....cut you.
All moods are accepted (i.e. fun, serious, sad, bombastic, numb, calm) and I will accomodate for each situation. For example, for a training video my vocal demeanor might be friendly, calm, and encouraging. For a car dealership commercial it might be over-the-top guy-smiley-esque. For a kids cartoon it might be silly, whereas for a cartoon for older audiences it might be disturbing.
Everything is very character-driven for me. A good character provides depth to a voice performance. Even if the character is flat, I try to imagine a round version in my mind when I develop the voice.

My Voice Experience
I suppose I'm a bit of a psychopath since I do voices everyday, all day long. Whether its being a gremlin for my daughter or impersonating Clarence Botager at work, I'm always twisting my voice into different forms.
My Training
There are training courses for being a weirdo?
I've been doing voices and impersonations since I was a kid and have since developed my own characters.
I am no stranger to recording as I have recorded several demos with my band. I take direction well due to my listening skills and my ability to see others' points of view. Both of these skills were honed by earning my BA in philosophy.
