My Voice Experience
Okay, well I would have to say it started in my early 20's
when I was living in Modesto,California.I had been told that I have the voice for the job and was introduced to the radio industry by a friend who had a connection. I soon became a part of the Bott radio network and got my first exposure to the business of voice talent work. I had a great, fun loving station manager who looked out for me while I learned the in's and outs of a radio station slash office, He also later became a good mentor.
I formed a friendship with the head D.J. with the voice that was as smooth as glass. He also ran his own D.J. music business. He invited me along to help out at times and that is where I learned how to connect my talent with expression outside of the station and this seemed to help with my confidence.
The afternoon jockey was full of talent and fire for his career, and his go for it attitude also helped me to see that you can have fun at this career along with your dedication.
The equipment was basic and easy to learn.I did voice over spots for commercials,P.S.A.'s,announcements,live talk show events and 2 live remotes to promote business.
I learned how to edit script to fit air time and put my skills and work sense together.
My talents are limited to work experience only, I have no class experiences.
My Studio Equipment
I have no equipment at this time.
At the moment I am working in retail sales where I am constantly talking to customers and area representatives.
Many customers have said to me I have an excellent voice and should try getting into the radio/voice industry.
I am easy going and like to work with people and the creative process to see a good product that creates good client relations.
My background experience includes sales and service work.
I believe these experiences have been able to bring out my true self and no one is a stranger,so I'm comfortable in many situations and able to get the job done.
