For documentaries, I have a warm and informative narrative style. If its an advert I can change to up-beat, fun and frivolous, or intimate and sensual. My voice is clear, rich, with no regional British accent (RP).

I have been working for over 9 years in voice overs and in that time I have worked a great deal in advertising (including Danone, Festina watches, Naomi Campbell perfume, Too feminine perfume, Catalan Tourist board, Andalucia Tourist Board) which have required a wide variety of styles. I enjoy the challenge of giving the clients what they are looking for and have experience in helping cut down text to the fit the timing.
I'm a good sight-reader and has completed large texts for audio guides for museums in record time! Living in Spain and speaking the language I am often called upon to revise the text and even re- translate during the recording session. I have done audio guides for Casa Batxllo- one of Gaudi's famous buildings in Barcelona, Freixnet Cava, and the Titanic exhibition at the Maritime Museum.
Finally, I have great deal of experience doing corporate narrative texts, phone waiting, answer machine messages etc.
I am a trained actress, director and script writer with my own English speaking theatre company, which I believe gives me a good eye (and ear!) for how the product should turn out.

My Training

I trained for 3 years at B.S.S.D. (Now Birmingham School of Acting) a professional drama school, based in England. I trained in voice work, singing and radio drama and was selected for the BBC Carlton Hobbs competition, where, out of 240 competitors I was placed 5th. I worked for 7 years as an actress in the UK and then moved to Spain and started working in voiceovers. I set up my own company offering Theatre in English, and I have written and directed 20 plays for Blue Mango. I write and record all the music for the productions, and I've also recorded various English language learning CDs for kids, both singing and speaking. I have a second company offering actors for events, and have worked as a presenter at the Forum Conference Centre in Barcelona.

My Studio Equipment

I have a profesional home studio which includes Mbox, ProTools, and a Rode microphone. I can send edited work via email, mp3, Wav, ftp or by post on a CD.


I can record via ISDN with a local studio that offers this service. The additional cost of renting the studio by the hour would be reflected in the price. Skype is another option, without any additional cost.

Additional Skills

My knowledge of Spanish and Catalan could be of interest, as could my good ear for accents, and my local knowledge of the area.
I also have a strong, bluesy-soulful singing voice and written songs for theatre (lyrics and melody)
