My Voice Experience

My career started when a casting director from OLGIVY&MATHER would hear me on the other end of the phone everyday, and finally said, COME IN FOR AN AUDITION. . .

Eventually, I went to a 3-year intensive acting program in NYC.
I am a trained professional actor with stage training. . . Singing, voice and speech teachers were always excited by my voice. . .

My big break happened when I went in for an on-camera audition, they had 20 of us cattle-called in a row. . . and I remember, I said my name. . but, it sounded different then the rest. . .

They said, "OK, thank you. . blah, blah blah. . and YES, Elyssa, please, can you stay." All left, the room got quiet, the casting directors offered me a script, and said, "read this", and I did. . and again, I heard this VOICE. . .

I knew on the spot that I had the gig and so did they. This started me branding the introduction of high speed internet to NEW YORK CITY. . . and I became the "1-800-ok-cable" girl. . . A gig that I had for many years. . .

and then there was HBO. . .my even bigger break. . .

and it keeps getting better. . now I am THE VOICE of the FOOD CHANNEL in INDIA. . (far east) and I work with a wonderful group of creative, supportive production company!
then PBS. .

and in Israel, I worked for the biggest companies. . selling AHAVA PRODUCTS, TELLit CELLPHONE, NEW ADAM PERFUME and a fa-BU commercial for HONDA HYBRID. .

So, I have all the biggies, diamonds, cosmetics and cars!
