My Training

I graduated from the Ontario Institute of Audio Recording Technology in '91. I also attended the jazz program at York University. I have studied jazz and classical music and have extensive playing experience. I learned about vocal training and projection. With my musical experience I can aid the talent in finding the right rhythm and nuance to create a believable voice performance.

I have over 15 years of music and voice editing experience. I own and have operated my own studio for 12 years. I am trained and am also a certified instructor of Pro Tools. My knowledge of Pro Tools is current and deep.

My Studio Equipment

My studio is a professional enterprise. It was built with proper acoustic treatments for balanced frequency response and has excellent acoustic isolation. The equipment is a hybrid of analogue and digital media. I use Pro Tools HD for recording and editing with but my front end is all high quality analogue gear. I have Neve mic preamplifiers which have excellent tonal response and I mix on an SSL console which is industry standard in the big rooms.

Sound quality should never be compromised. With my knowledge of acoustics and my experience in recording, producing and editing, I come up with excellent sounding masters that have been used by companies that require the most exact detail for web presentations to narrations for movies.

Additional Skills

In addition to recording, producing and editing voice over material, I can also create sound scapes, sound design (I have an extensive sound effects library) and original music that can be licensed to you to use for short term or for ever.
