My Voice Experience
My voice has been recorded in various forms for 10 years. I have worked as a voice over artist and contributed spoken word sections for student film projects, musicians and my own personal projects based in my home studio. I also sing, write, record and play several instruments such as guitar, piano, bass and drums.
Playing and singing on a wide variety of original, contemporary music has helped to diversify my voice's natural pitch, tone and timbre.
My voice appeared on the 2001 short documentary film "Imperfect Beauty" (directed by Salim Stephenson) which was shot in London, England.
I also contributed the voice behind an animated character in the film "The Living, The Dead and The Hungry". This was created and directed by Rachel Jayes and Alex McAllister and won a young film maker award in 1996.
In 2005, my voice was featured on an amusing concept song entitled "Not Good Enough" by the band B.M.I. This was played on the popular UK Radio station XFM 104.9fm by DJ's Claire Sturgess and Shaun Keaveny.
My Training
1996: Obtained National Diploma in Media studies (recorded voice overs for own and other students projects): Cumbria College of Art and Design, UK.
2000: Graduated with a Higher National Diploma in Performing Arts - Music Production: Newcastle College, UK.
