I am Scottish and despite living away from Scotland for many years, I have maintained my accent. I have been told that my voice is beautiful to listen to. Meaningful, gentle, clear, articulate, sexy, are all descriptions given to me in relation to my voice. I can present many voice tones relating to the subject matter. Light and cheerful, meaningful and engaging for more serious expression. I particularly like narration, documentary, and advertising styles. Lets just say, I could sell a bottle of good Scottish Malt Whiskey to a non drinker.

My Voice Experience

I am a radio broadcaster. I have been presenting a Celtic Music Radio Show called Celtic & Beyond for Ktaos 101.9 FM . This is a great training ground for me. Radio is the theatre of the mind. There are no props, stage, or actors to look at which means I get to be more creative in my work. I bring a lot of other elements of The Celts to my show through story telling, poetry, education on the Celtic Culture, so it's much more that just music. I have also done a lot of advertising for a variety of different businesses. My voice has been used to promote musical concerts.

My Training

I have used my voice confidently since childhood. I was always first to volunteer to read aloud in class-a great way to get started. I have attended voice over, throat work, and communication classes.
