My voice is in a fairly low register, a mature sounding female voice, it can be extremely smooth or fun or funny for commercials. I can also sound very sultry and sexy. I can also sound very professional with a harder edge, can sound very loud and clipped, staccato, but also very soft and whispery. I can also sound like a little girl. I can speak & read French & German.

My Voice Experience

I am currently a morning drive-time dj for a radio station in my area. It is primarily a news program along with some music. I co-host this show and choose the music that we play. I own a consulting company with my husband and I am the Director of Marketing. It is my job to call on clients and to cold call. Throughout the 12 plus years that we've been in business, I've developed a professional sounding type of voice over the phone to engage people that I have never met to become clients. When we started our business, we literally started from scratch...we now have a client base of over 1,000 clients.

My Training

I received my degree in acting from Boston University and continued acting classes in New York with the film actress Suzanne Shepard. I have also studied voiceover technique from Sherri Berger & Nancy Scanlon in Chicago. I am currently signed with Baker & Rowley, Chicago Talent Worx and Lori Lins Ltd. talent agencies in the Chicago area.
