Voice Description

I came into this career totally unexpected...After being approached by a advertising executive in a restaurant (he was listening to my 'voice' as I had lunch with a friend)about if I had ever planned a career in Radio/VO--things progressed from there! (My mother was a Radio Announcer during WWII & the 1950's. She had her own talk show.)

I have a mid-western accent, which can handle many different types of dialects from all over the U.S.A. Southern, Northern, Bronx, Brooklyn, and Texas, for example. I can do many foreign accents, from British, Scottish, Irish, German, and French, just to name a few. I can be adapable to almost any type of voiceover job that is needed. I'm a mezzo-soprano/1st alto singer, and can sing in voiceover advertisements. I feel very comfortable in the studio setting. I have also written my own copy for commercials. I have a 'personable' voice, which allows me to 'connect' with the public easily. This shows trust, connectability, and an reliability to reach both the client and the audience.
