My Voice Experience

I have acted since the age of 6. I have had many years on stage doing musical theatre, mostly in lead roles. I have sung in choirs all my life. Often, people comment on the professionalism of my voice, and on my clear diction. Since I have three children, I can also do "exasperated mother" VERY well!

My Training

15 years musical theatre performances; trained at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Pasadena, CA; 4 years professional vocal/diction training with the Texas Girls' Choir in Ft. Worth, TX; most recent experience was singing with the Santa Cruz Chorale in 2005.

Additional Skills

I am an attorney. I have sold cars, tended bar, served in the Army, and been hollerin' at my kids for 12 years. My voice does tend to sound very professional, but I can work on a less formal sound, if the script requires. I am new to voice-over work, but have many years of acting experience that I am eager to put to use in this new venue.
