Lisa Tamisin has been a real estate professional since 1999. In an effort to align herself with other like minded professionals that strive to provide the very best representation for their clients, she joined the Avenues of Atlanta Realty team in 2005. Lisa has experience in residential, commercial and investment markets and has no problem transitioning between them. A successful real state investor in her own right, Lisa believes that every real estate transaction is an investment in one's future. It is for that reason that she provides the same level of diligence and professionalism to all her clients - from first time home buyers to those seeking to make large scale commercial acquisitions.

After graduating with a degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from the University of Illinois (UIUC) in 1996, Lisa began her professional life as one of the original team members at Allstate's newly founded National Catastrophe Center in South Barrington, IL. Although she was less than a year out of college at the time, she was quickly promoted to department manager, due to her strong work ethic, innovative ideas and natural leadership abilities. Additionally, she was recognized and awarded on more than one occasion by the Allstate home office for her dedication to excellence. It was at this position that Lisa first began to hone the skills that would one day make her such an exceptional real estate consultant. As a specialist in claims stemming from natural catastrophes for one the world largest insurance companies, Lisa was formally trained to perform detailed home inspections and conduct service negotiations on her home owner's behalf. These skills transitioned nicely, once she decided to realign her career goals toward real estate consulting. In fact, these skills coupled with her strong work ethic, helped her complete well over $1 million worth of transactions within only months of getting her real estate license. Since then, she has grown into a successful, seasoned real estate professional, ever dedicated to providing her clients with the very best service possible. Additionally, she is currently a member of the Atlanta Board of Realtors (ABR) and serves on the ABR Governmental Affairs Commitee.

While Lisa is very proud of her professional achievements, she is most proud of the title given to her by her loving family, "Mommy". Originally a Chicago, IL native, she has lived in Alpharetta, GA with her family for the last 7 years. She enjoys staying active in both her church and community and she is very proud to call Georgia her adopted home.
