I can imitate a deep south accent (ie, Georgia, Alabama) or a spanglish accent. I am caucasion but grew up in Tampa, Florida where I learned to imitate my friends' accents. I can make my voice sexy and seductive. I can imitate a childish chatter or a grouchy old lady. I have been doing these imitations practically my whole life.

My Voice Experience

I have no formal training. I have been in customer service for 25 years and dealing with the public has taught me to be different "personalities" depending on what the situation calls for.

I have been in community theatre off and on for several years. I have played the role of: a grouchy old woman, a young oversexed woman, a spanish maid. The list goes on. It is fun and wonderful to change my voice attitude and change characters for role playing.

My Training

Although I have no formal training (I live in a small semi-rural community 70 miles north of the Tampa Bay area). I have had years of experience and have always wanted to participate in voice acting. I have performed on stage to small audiences. I have given presentations to perspective customers. I have had indirect training for what you are looking for.

Additional Skills

I am friendly and warm. Most people describe me as affable and gregarious. Strangers have commented to me about how nice my voice and my laugh is. My community theatre friends often allow me to see shows at no charge because my laugh is contagious and synergizes their audiences.
