Voice Description

I have an overall alto range in my voice, with bright overtones - I can sound like I'm smiling without much effort. However, I can also sound sexy and smooth, and my previous work was professional and warm. I have a large singing range as well, from lower alto to high soprano. In short, my voice can work for you.

I am able to do the following accents in addition to Standard American English: various British voices, Irish, New York, Chicago, "Southern Belle." In addition, I am adept at mimicry -- if you want something specific, please ask and I might just be able to comply!

My Voice Experience

I have been acting for the last 18 years, in school and community productions. I was part of a prizewinning high school speech team, and won an individual trophy. In addition, I have been singing since I could talk. That experience makes me uniquely able to communicate feeling with my voice.

I have done one voice-over job before, for an internal web-based training program for the State of Nevada; the company I worked through here in San Diego loved my warmth and professionalism. In addition, I do a lot of telephone work at my current Administrative Assistant job, and have been told several times that I have a fabulous voice.

My Training

I graduated from UC San Diego in 2002 with a degree in Communication. Througout high school and college I was active in drama, choir, and speech -- I took courses and participated in groups and shows. I have been a lead, a featured soloist, and a chorus/company member.
