My Voice Experience

With over 10 years' experience, Ellie has voiced a variety of projects for major multinational corporations - from commercials, to health and safety training and e-learning, as well as more locally focussed projects for smaller organisations.

From her own broadcast-quality ISDN studio, she's heard on all the major UK radio and TV networks, including the BBC, Channel 4, ITV, Global Radio, Bauer, GMG, as well as numerous independent commercial outfits and satellite/cable TV stations. Corporate clients include Sony, NatWest, M&S, Balfour Beatty, Shell, The Home Office, AstraZeneca and Tesco. Reading medical and technical terminology with conviction is an in-house speciality at SayerHamilton, and she and her MVO, Phil Sayer, are two of the leading corporate narrators in the UK market.

Elinor has one of the most iconic voices in the UK - as the female voice of several London Underground Lines!

She has also been the voice of EducationCity for several years - a worldwide web learning resource, thanks to her clear, friendly, non-patronising delivery which is perfect for children.

My Training

Ellie began her broadcasting career as a presenter and producer with Emap Radio (now Bauer) from 1997-2002, then Real Radio (GMG) in from 2002-2005, bringing her sparkly character and cheerful nature into every programme. A background in production made her (and she still is) very technically able.

In 2001, she formed SayerHamilton with MVO Phil Sayer, one of the UK's leading male voice overs and corporate narration specialists.

Between them, their friendly approach, technical knowledge, and their understanding and passion for the spoken word, has made SayerHamilton one of the UK's most successful voiceover partnerships.

Elinor has 3 years' acting training and holds a first class honours degree in Drama from the University of Manchester.
