My Training

California State University, Fullerton, California. Graduated with a B.A. in Communications with emphasis in advertising, May 1981. Have done English to Spanish and Spanish to English translations of employee and technical manuals, ad copy, travel brochures, proposals,corporate communications, agreements, press releases and more. Extensive translation into Spanish and VO recording freelancing in Southern California with pharmaceutical, irrigation, automotive, public relations, marketing and sales, manufacturing, engineering and health-related firms from 1985 through 2005. Extensive translation and VO recording freelance work in Colorado from 2006 to present. Just completed a lengthy English into Spanish translation and VO recording project for for online courses of high-school level algebra, molecular biology, geometry, literature, world history and palentology. Also, just completed another extensive VO recording project for an e-learning client in Sydney, Australia, recording 494 college-level organic chemistry terminology and definitions in both English and Spanish.

My Studio Equipment

Use RecordPad/WavePad for Recording from my PC. Use a Logitek microphone headset to record audio files. Usually transfer audio files in .mp3 format as an email attachment (zipe or unzip) or directly to client's core FTP.
