Age 56, female, with a hint of the hills of my birth still in my voice, but, having lived in seven states, the region is hard to identify.
I tell a joke well, have good timing, good rhythm for poetry reading. Love a punch line or a bit of drama. I have a stage personna ("Lainey B") for the poetry that I wouldn't want my mother to hear -- it's fun to surprise the youngsters (20-somethings) with what this middle-aged white woman can do.
I am (day job) a psychotherapist, (avocation) Feng Shui consultant, road trip traveller, fan of Spaulding Gray and Will Shortz. I think even bad theatre is good.
