Voice Description

My voice is light and fun lending itself to a more youthful image. I have a warm and friendly demeanor excellent for phone greetings. Yet I can pitch my voice quite high, perfect for character roles in animation or book recordings. I excel at commercial recordings as my diction is articulate while my voice is energetic and expressive. Standard American accents are performed with great proficiency.

My Voice Experience

My Experience-

While working for a Comedy and Rock'N'Roll theater in the Midwest I played: a Christmas Tree, "Brittany Smears", a grieving house wife, a bratty child, an eccentric Brooklyn Italian as well as singing classic Prince were all standard fare.

My Training

BFA in Musical Theater from Texas Christian University studied Voice/Speech with Margaret Loft. While attending Circle in the Square Theater School I participated in the Musical Theater Tract and studied Speaking Voice with Dr. Lucille Rubin and Andrea Haring as well as Speech with Leigh Dillon, Elizabeth Loughran, and KC Ligon.

Additional Skills

As a Teaching Artist and Early Childhood Development Specialist I learned to quickly build rapport with children by interacting on their level of communication. As a result my VO recordings for children's books tend to truly inspire a youthful imagination.
