My first exciting job with voice over was when I began to read stories to my son. I love to read out loud. I would give the characters that I was reading about different voices and personalities. My voice is soothing and calming, so I read the books in a story telling fashion. I am also capable of reading with excitement and enthusiasm. I also did a voice audition for a WFYI TV station and my voice was accepted. The audition was to volunteer to record or to read live, newspapers, books, or articles for those who have sight challenges.
I also attended the University of Pheonix, majoring in Elementary Education with a concentration in English.
I will be renting recording time in a studio.
I want clients to know that I am excited about doing voice overs. I am easy to access and willing to try new projects. I also love to write hoping that this may also help with employment. I am seeking a positive environment in which to develop and take my voice over skills and writing skills to another level. I would also like to work with a mentor to help me identify my weak areas.
Thank you very much for considering my application. I look forward to hearing from your company.
