Voice Description
Even with my limited experience, I have learned that I have the ability to use my voice in a variety of ways. My voice can be smooth, professional and authoritative, as it is when I am giving test directions or making the announcements everyday for our high school of 4000. When I am doing play-by-play and stadium announcer work, my voice is professional yet energetic when the occasion calls for it. I am a generally loud and excitable person, but I have also been told that my voice can be warm and comforting when I want it to be.

Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects
When I was a broadcasting major at Temple university, i was always told that I have a slight Phildelphia/ Northeast Metro accent. However, I have also learned to hide this when it is needed for broadcasting work.
My Voice Experience
While my experience is a bit limited, it is beginning to grow. Since 2007, I have been working as the stadium announcer for Villanova University Men's Lacrosse. I have spent the last five years as the stadium announcer for two high schools in the Philadelphia suburbs. As the stadium announcer I have been the voice for football games, marching band competitions, other sporting events and fun events such as pep rallies and powder puff football games. Also, while it seems simple, I have been the voice of Upper Darby High School, saying the morning announcements every day. I know that saying the announcements at my school is nothing to brag about, but it is a job that I was asked to do because everyone says that I have a perfect "radio voice" which grabs everyone's attention and is always loud and clear. More importantly, this has given me the ability to practice everyday, so that voiceover work sounds natural. Hopefully, I can add your great project to my resume!
My Training
Before switching to teaching, I was a broadcast journalism student at Temple University for two and a half years. I do not regret my decision, as I love my job, but almost daily I am told that I have the perfect voice for radio, commercials or voice over work. While my experiences have been simple, they have allowed me to continually improve upon the skills I learned as a broadcaster at Temple University.

Additional Skills
I am often told that I have a great voice and that I should not let it go to waste. I feel that my voice is a great tool to allow me to express my personality, and that the two together are what makes me someone who people like to listen too. I know that it will be tough getting into this business without my degree in briadcasting and with very limited experience, but just like the people at Villanova University, once you hear my voice you will want to hire me.
