I have a warm, deep, middle-aged male voice, ideal for narrations and motivational presentations. I can imbue my voice with rich emotion for dramatic effect, or modulate it with perfect inflection and timing for comedy.

I deliver a striking sales pitch. My voice is compelling and persuasive.

I can localize my voice, in accent and dialect without effort, to fit nearly any geographic requirement. I traveled extensively and lived in six separate countries on five continents before finishing high school. Following college, I continued traveling with my career and have lived in nearly every geographic area of the United States. I also speak Jamaican Patois and Castillian Spanish like a native.

My Voice Experience

I've narrated many local events. I have extensive experience in front of people, delivering all manner of presentations, from business presentations to conducting training, from performing in community theater to preaching in a church. I've often been asked to speak due to the quality of my voice and diction.

My Training

My degree is in business, which did little to train me for voice overs. My experience, however,has been replete with training opportunities.

I spent 23 years in the US Navy submarine service, where I learned to control my speech to exacting standards, to ensure proper communications in any situation. I practiced clear, metered tones and learned to control emotion, using just enough to convey a feeling or idea, but not so much as to distract from the message itself. I spent several years during my Navy career as an instructor, teaching electronics and nuclear physics to young adults. My classes consistently performed better than others and I was selected as the US Navy Instructor of the Year in 1983. It was simply a result of my ability to speak in such a way as to capture the students' attention and motivate them to learn.

After leaving the military, I spent a number of years in business, and my ability to pitch a program or product helped me advance quickly to the senior executive level with an international printing corporation. I designed many programs and campaigns, for our internal use and for our customers.
