Voice Description

I am at the high end of the baritone range. My natural voice is warm and rich. However, I can pitch it to sound many years both younger and older, depending on the need. I can sound the epitome of relaxed and laid back, or nervous and overwrought. Happy, sad, excited, bored, young, old, severe, kinky... I can either do it already or am willing to try my hand at it.

My Voice Experience

I am a lifelong creative writer and amateur musician, with a passion for communication in any form. The majority of my non-voice work experience is in working with the public, giving directions and instructions, training fellow employees, and various similar functions. As yet, the only strictly voice experience I have is with the Confederation Centre of the Arts in Charlottetown, PEI. I was the english voice of their switchboard recording. However, with my current course of studies I am intensively training in vocal techniques, types of delivery, and all aspects of radio broadcasting and voice work.

My Training

I am currently enrolled at Columbia Academy in Vancouver, in the Broadcasting and Performing Arts program. My course will be concluding in December. I also studied music for years, in the form of vocal training and three years worth of one on one guitar lessons. I have been an amateur writer, of one form or another, for basically my entire life.
