My natural speaking voice is a combination of Pacific Northwest, Midwest, Western, Rocky Mountain. Some of my character voices are Southern, Texan, with a hint of Bad Biker and Leg Scratcher
My Voice Experience
I began commercial voiceover in 1973. Although I had another career, associates have asked me to do various voiceover projects over the years. I've enjoyed the challenge and they've enjoyed the results. I now have a studio in my home and I am (for the first time) actively marketing my skills.
My Training
Attended college on a vocal music scholarship, several years of private voice lessons, some theater work including musicals, sang in various choirs and ensembles
Most recently I've taken voice acting lessons as well as workshops.
My Studio Equipment
Various recording software supporting a fully equipped studio with PC and Mac, Accoustically engineered voiceover booth, Main Mic is an Electro-Voice RE20.
Additional Skills
I was a sales manager for several years and I've conducted sales seminars and training both internally and for strategic partners. Now I'm concentrating exclusively on the delivery of the message
