Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects

(All English speaking) Accents are: British, Australian, French, German, & Middle East. Dialects are the more mainstream American regional dialects. (Boston, New York, Southern, American Indian, etc.) I can impersonate Nixon, Ford, Carter, Reagan, Bush 41, and Clinton (very well). I can also impersonate Cary Grant, Walter Cronkite, and many other well known celebrities. I can also imitate many cartoon characters. For the most part, if I can hear a voice, I can imitate it.

My Voice Experience

I have work at various radio stations from large to small and major market TV as a voice talent. I do freelance work around the Columbus area now for a couple of agencies and one network plus voice work for one national production house. I have also done imaging voice work for radio stations in the past and have voiced audio/visual long form productions. In the past three years I have provided voice services for a few independent films as a background radio voice, TV anchor, and civil defense announcement.

My Training

I started in radio at 11 years of age and was doing a regular on-air shift by the time I was 14. I furthered my education at Ohio University.

My Studio Equipment

My home studio consists of a Eurorack MX 802A mixer with an EV Re-20 mic. I use a Rolls voice processor between the mic and the mixer. My computer uses a Lynx One audio card for recording in and playback into Altec Lansing monitors. I use Adobe Audition/Cool Edit for recording/editing. I have Pro-Tools available but prefer the simplicity of Cool Edit. For ISDN live sessions I use a Comrex Nexus either in G.722 mode or Turbo. (Other end must have a Nexus and an ISDN line configured as 2 B and 1 D channel to use Turbo.)
