My Voice Experience

My vocal performance experience includes network and regional television, network and regional radio, and commercials/presentations for every type of event.

With 20+ years of experience as a news/sports anchor in all broadcast media, I have the authoritative voice of news trust and the storytelling aspect for longer scripts.

I have been the "voice" of TV and radio station imaging, and often asked to bring scriptwriting to the job.

My voice and delivery allows me to deliver speeches and presentations often without a mic in large rooms. Also, as a SAG actor and having performed in a number of feature films, I understand and bring an expressive nature to every project.

Save for a female voice, one that I leave to the better qualified experts, I believe my voice allows me to fit every project.

My Training

Having spent my career as an anchor, reporter and talk show host for both TV and radio, I have honed my skills on the job. Working for ESPN, CBS, FOX, ABC Radio, ESPN Radio and many more have allowed me to flex my vocal muscle and learn certain variations.

I am also an accomplished audio/video editor, and often asked to either conceive or polish a project script. My knowledge of world and local news affairs and sports quite often has insured a script has the right terminology.

My Studio Equipment

All recording at my private studio is done using Mackie boards. Microphones include a Nuemann U87, Heil PR40, MXL CR-24 and USB006. I utilize a Lexicon Alpha for digital recording to our studio IMac. Editing is done with Soundtrack Pro and Sound Studio software, depending on the specific requirements. I do all my own editing. I also have a small but targeted library of music and sound effects, and can also acquire specific production material.

Clients may listen in and there is 2 way communication via standard phone line or Skype during recording. At present I do not have ISDN, yet may be adding it once again. I have access to a number of studios here in the Orlando area that have ISDN, and I can negotiate excellent rates.

My #1 skill is professionalism. I treat every client and production with the respect and care it deserves. I will not allow the quality of my work to be anything but the best I can offer.
