Hi, my main reason for showing interest in the business is my ability to do believable animal impersonations- I want to put these to good use. Making the noses is fun and therapuetic as I am a wolf Therian ^^

Beside that, I studied German, Latin and French at school and was commended for my appreciation of accent and tone. I love Japanese culture, and my love of anime lead me to teach myself Japanese. I have Japanese friends I converse with, so I hear the language from native speakers in person. I would like to read from a japanese script, whether in Romaji or kana.

Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects

'Dragon' noise, grizzly bear roar, growls, wolf/dog howls, whimpers, whines, barks (very good bark! ^^), neighs/whinnies, snorts, snarls, dolphin clicks, singing

I can do an american accent (with regional variations in mind)convincingly and take accent into reasonable consideration when speaking in foreign languages without sounding too stereotypical.

My Voice Experience

I have done recordingsfor friend's recording projects here and there but nothing major. Obviously this isn't going to reflect very well on me as I have no major referencs to cite, but I'm looking for someone to ive me the benefi of the doubt and a first chance.

Being a therian, it'd be very helpful to do some animal roles. This is a huge convenience rather than getting a real animal to make specific sounds on demand for a live recording.

I can't begin to explain to you how irritating it is to hear the same generic animal sounds being used in cartoons and films all the time in completely the wrong context. It'd be nice to hear more expressive and specific sounds... which I can do! *barks* *wag wag*

My Training

I did GCSE music and Art in High School and I'm about to start a Btec Natinal Diploma in Visal Art and Design. I'm considering doing a course on Music in the Community. I have experience with music software such as Sibelius and Logic.

I can play four instruments (guitar, piano, flute and steel drums)proficiently, but I can take my hand to any instrument I wish as I am self-taught.

Additional Skills

I have a kinship with animals, therefore I believe that my impressions will provide a more emotional performance than simply generic noises. I have Asperger's Syndrome. Rather then view it as a disability, I'd like to think I could provide an alternative take on ideas and principles. I am an artistic person by nature, so I don't think I'll require much direction. (not saying I don't want any!)
