My Voice Experience
Currently, other than cable access television, where I have been a regular Intro for "Artist to Artist" in Skokie, Illinois, I have been in a project for internet promotion.
I've also completed an orientation for the Skokie, IL Fire Department training video. The content included items such
as Hazmat training, and basic topics for new recruits.
My Training
Certificate in Animation/Multimedia from Oakton Community
College. Oakton was where I first had my initiation with voice over, adding sound effects and voice to Chaplin and Keaton flicks. Steve Veach was my "Sound" instructor for two fun semesters.
I took a voice over course at Columbia College, in Chicago, taught by Deborah Hermaly, who gave me much insight into the business end of the industry.
I then enrolled into a voice over course at Act 1
Acting School in Chicago, where Gigi Buffington
taught breathing exercises and worked with me on
artistic control. I also took a beginning Voice Over
course at Act 1 from Kirk Johnson.
I then moved on to Bosco Productions, a sound production studio in Chicago where I worked with Kathy Keys Bosco
for two years learning how to work my voice to the
point where I can "live" in the script. My demo was produced by Bosco Productions in 2006.
