Voice Description

My voice is the result of having spent 13 years in Northern Ireland, then another 10 in Canada, 1 in Australia, and the remainder in England. Now 34 years old, this voice has attained a mellifluous, Transatlantic quality.

Having surrounded myself with pets all my life, I have been able to 'train' my voice to a very wide range of silly sounds. So, while my suave, pleasant Irish-Canadian speaking voice is suitable for documentaries or adverts, when I really go to town (and this does not take much effort at all!), I can produce totally lunatic character voices, running the gamut from 'oh dear, I've just drunk 150 cups of coffee with a Red Bull chaser on each one!' to the slow-walking, demonic clown killer walking after a video game victim who is running scared.

Billed as the Voice of Atlantis, I have been told that my voice is certainly suited for video games.

My Voice Experience

Needs to be heard to be believed!!! I used to do 'voice guitar' busking on trains. You should hear my 'Black Dog' (by Led Zeppelin) where I sing the guitar, bass, drums as well as the lyrics!!!

I was 'discovered' when I was getting my CV sorted out. An actor put me in touch with my producer and it was a resoundingly satisfying, successful experience cutting that demo. Although my range is such that I have read audio books ('Souls of the Southern Stars' and 'Pearl Wind'), I am certainly much more at home being a little 'nuts' with my voice in video game characters.
