My Voice Experience

I've done it all. And now you're thinking, "Sure you have. I've never heard of you." Okay, so you may not have heard OF me, but you've probably heard me. My voice can be heard as a reporter in "Legally Blonde" - it was supposed to be a scratch track but they liked my work so much, they used it. And it's not the first time - I've been brought in to do scratch tracks and ended up booking the actual job. I've done radio and TV spots for eHarmony and TV spots for South Beach Diet. I've even done spots for Armed Forces Radio. I've done promos for Universal Studios and Princess Cruises. I've been that voice you've heard on in-house phone systems and touch-tone menus. I've done even done narration for training and promo videos. Okay, so the one animation project I did lost its funding and never got finished, but I did it. I have a reputation for being professional, flexible, easy to work with, and able to nail the copy right out of the box. And if I don't, I will do it until it's just how the client wants it. And that usually doesn't take long either. So, I've done it all - and I can do it for you!

My Training

I've taken a few voice-over workshops, but the greatest education I received was with Nancy Wolfson at Braintracks Audio. She is an amazing teacher and taught me how to find not only my voice, but the voice for the project at hand. I have extensive acting experience which helps me get a quick handle on the copy and I am an experienced stand-up and improvisational comedian which allows me to handle comedic copy well and bring scripts to life. In addition to my voice-over work, I spend my days playing the Genie in "Aladdin, a Musical Spectacular" at Disney's California Adventure where I sing live and perform a wide variety of voices and impressions.

My Studio Equipment

I have a very simple home recording set up that allows me to record voice-overs for both auditions and production. In many cases, I can add music and sound effects to finalize a project. I use a Samson studio condenser microphone and record in Garage Band.
