St James Power station (Singapore) 2006 – present

Resident entertainer opening Singapore’s newest and hottest nightspot, performing Swing, Jazz, Pop and Soul 6 nights per week. Initial 3 month contract has been extended twice by the company. Private performances for events at St James Power Station include: Ferrari, Raymond Weil, Bvlgari, President of Singapore and Singapore board of tourism.

The A-cappella Society (Singapore) 2006

Vocal coach and tutor to classes of up to 30 students forming ensembles of 8 - 10 singers preparing material for Christmas and New Years events across Singapore. Lectured on vocal technique and vocal health at camp A-cappella Singapore.

Flying Pickets 1999 - present

Member of one of the worlds most famous a-cappella vocal groups with number one single “Only You” Flying Pickets perform approximately 100 live shows per year across Europe, Asia and South Africa to audiences ranging from 500 to 25000 . Frequent television and radio appearances have brought the Flying Pickets to the eyes and ears of millions. Dylan is credited as a lead / backing vocalist, songwriter and arranger on the groups two most recent albums.

Premier Cru 1998 - present

Lead vocalist one of London’s most established and exceptional show bands with a repertoire ranging from Big Band Swing and Jazz to current Pop and musical theatre. The band features some of the U.K’s finest professional musicians and ranges in size from 12 to 22 piece. Premier Cru perform regularly at venues including The Royal Albert Hall, Alexander Palace, The Savoy, The Ritz, The Dorchester and Grosvenor House.

My Training

Dylan Foster has established himself as an outstanding performer, musician and composer through countless live performances all over the world, sessions for chart topping artists and writing credits on successful releases. An accomplished vocalist and multi instrumentalist, his musical influences include Jazz, Soul and Pop. Dylan’s repertoire of standard and popular material is endless and he has shared the stage with some of Australia, Asia and Europe’s most respected artists.

Originally from Sydney Australia, Dylan moved to London nine years ago and immediately gained local recognition fronting some of the top show bands in the U.K. at venues such as The Royal Albert Hall, Alexandra Palace, Grosvenor House, The Savoy and The Ritz and for the past six years has been a member of one of the world’s most famous a-cappella groups, Flying Pickets. The group performs an average of eighty shows per year across Europe, Asia and South Africa. Dylan is featured as a lead vocalist, composer and arranger on three of the Flying Pickets ten albums. More recently he has further proved his versatility as a resident entertainer at Singapore's newest and most popular entertainment mega complex, St James Power Station, performing Swing and Jazz at St James’ Bellini Room and high energy Pop and R&B at Boiler Room and Powerhouse.

Aside from performing and recording, Dylan gives regular vocal master classes and workshops across Europe and Asia, to groups ranging from small vocal ensemble, to choirs and large audiences. He has lectured at leading music education institutions in the U.K. and has coached a number of major recording artists. Dylan’s other interests include fitness, bodybuilding and dance.
