Voice Description
My voice over talent is exteremely diverse. It ranges from inviting, calming, soothing, and smooth but can also be professional, firm, edgy, provocative, and clarion depending on the appropriate situation. English is my native language. However I have Jamaican heritage and have traveled extensively throughout the Carribean. I can speak Jamaican patois also. Born in Brooklyn NewYork, though educated in New England I can access and utilize all of the above accents, dialects and languages when necessary. Still my standard English is superior.

My Voice Experience
I am a poet, who has performed spoken word poetry for 13 years. I was in a college hip-hop band while attending Wesleyan University and made several recordings since. I am a 6-12 secondary education teacher of history educating our youth since 1998. I also lectured as an assistant professor at the University of Vermont. I have my own business in which I write and recite custom poems at weddings, churches, or other institutional functions. I love public speaking and I have been doing it almost every day, all day. I appear on Julian Owens' Here's Life Vol.1 -Close Your Eyes- (Spoken word) Surround Me (remix), Expansion, and prelude to Re-Birth time. I have worked on projects from Vermont to Florida including Conncecticut, Maryland, DC, New York and Alabama.
My Training
As a lecturer, teacher and spoken word artist. I know how to manipulate emotions, words, jargon, slang as well as the technical aspects of the English language and Carribean dialects to communicate effectively. I have acted in plays such as Twelve Angry Men, in which I played juror number 3 - (lead role) and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.
I have bachelor degrees in Philosophy and Government and a Master's degree in the Art's of Teaching History.

I am a very confident person yet extremely coachable, flexible, hard working, goal oriented and trustworthy. I played point guard on the Wesleyan Basketball team so I know the value of teamwork and playing a role. I have broad interests that I am constantly looking to expand. I believe strongly in Jesus Christ and and know that all things are possible when we consider his awesome power. I fear no man or project. I embrace challenges and use them as opportunities to shine.
