I am a trained operatic tenor, but my speaking voice is that of a low baritone, often described as warm and rich or as that of a radio announcer.
English is my native language, but I also speak Italian and can read any Italian script fluently. Though I speak neither language fluently, I am also able to read and voice scripts in French and German due to my operatic training in pronouncing those languages.

Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects

I am able to perform many "character voices" and can speak with a number of accents including high class British, cockney, Irish, Scot, New York Jewish, New York/Philadelphia Italian, and various southern accents including East Texas, Tennessee, New Orleans' Ninth Ward, and Cajun.

My Voice Experience

I am a professional Opera singer, and as such I have a lot of experience doing interviews on radio and television shows. While I have always been the one being interviewed, I am adept at reading any script.
I have done several recordings for commercials (mostly radio), original composition recordings, and for some independent film soundtracks. All of these recording projects involved singing music, though a few have involved spoken text as well.

My Training

I have had extensive experience in theater as well as degrees in music for singing opera, and have given numerous public speeches as well as sermons over the years. I do not hold any degrees in public speaking or mass communications as my studies were concentrated in music, but this did not stop me from being used by various organizations for public speaking events.

Additional Skills

I have a fairly extensive working knowledge of sports like football and baseball; obviously, I am well versed in music and music history, as well.
I am student of all things historical and have a great interest (and thus a fair amount of knowledge) in that field, so I believe I have the the skills to be used in historical presentations to great effect as well.
