My voice is distinctive, smooth, and crisp. Promotion commercials, movie trailers, and narrations are an excellent fit. My voice is also deep or 'boy next door' depending on the presentation needs. I have often been complimented on the lingering and soothing sound of my voice.

My Voice Experience

I started 'using' my voice in the military. As an NCO, I counselled troops, issued drill commands, and called cadence during physical training.
For the last seven years as a Captain in the Columbia, SC Fire Dept., my voice has been used to clearly relay my company's communications by radio and to direct my firefighters in various activities.

My Training

I write, read, and recite poetry. I have done so for about twenty years, though not professionally. Reading poetry is an excellent way to train one's voice. It requires a wide inflection range and great attention to the detail of punctuation and various mood expressions.
