Voice Description
My voice is normally of a lower, monotone style, with heavy enunciation. It can be calm and airy, or bold and assertive, depending on the project.
For documentaries, I have been very passive in tone, and am very comfortable in speeches or narratives. I can use a more energized tone for commercials, ranging from slightly enthused, to slapstick hyper.

My Voice Experience
Though my vocal experience is limited, I have been used for a stereotypical "Western" narration for a local car commercial, created wind sound effects, and have recorded radio documentaries for college projects. Additionally, I've dubbed in lines for a short film, and have narrated student documentaries.
My Training
I'm a film and television major, having taken classes on technical writing, writing for mass communication, speech, and journalism. Currently, I am a consistent contributor and columnist to a campus newspaper.
My Studio Equipment
Though I have no proper audio recording equipment of my own, I am able to use an in-school radio studio with professional condenser microphones on hand. Additionally, I do have minor audio editing experience in programs such as Adobe Audition and Audacity, but I am most capable at exporting audio files to any format necessary; I understand the differences between bit depths and sample rates, and what an engineer or mixer may desire.
Additional Skills
I am a video editor by profession, and am familiar with utilizing voice over recordings in many forms of video or film. Because of this, I realize the significance of different takes, slower/faster recordings, avoiding certain sounds, etc.
