Voice Description
I have the ability to speak with a variety of inflections and tonalities depending upon the audience. In any given setting, I can use either a softer, more congenial type of voice or a gritty, more urban-sounding tone if I am in the mood or the audience provokes it.
As far as impressions go, I first noticed that I could alter my voice when I was able to speak exactly like Mr. Woodchuck when Dave Coulier acted him out on Full House. But, I have always loved doing cartoon characters, particularly those from The Simpsons and Family Guy. I know that I can do an excellent Ralph Wiggum, Cleveland Brown, Jr., and "the creepy old neighbor" from Family Guy. Those I generally find to be much easier, because its easier for me to stretch my voice to the higher ranges (i.e. a child's range), than the lower register. I can do a pretty good Elmo as well, though I haven't done that in a while. I can also transition to sound like an elf fairly easily as well. I've been told that I do a very good Moe Syzlak, Chief Wiggum, Dr. Nick Riviera, and Lois Griffin.
I also have the ability to expand my voice to great extremes and can also do voices that sound much deeper than normal, particularly in slow-motion sequences. I think I first learned this when I used to always recount the scene from the original "Batman" when Jack Nicholson says "you ever dance with the Devil in the pale moon light?". I also love the scene in Old School when Will Ferrell shoots himself with the tranquilizer gun and starts speaking very slowly as he descends to the ground. I can do both of those scenes very well also.

My Voice Experience
At this point, I've never done anything that paid me for my vocal talents. However, I always entertain my friends at work by recounting certain episodes of cartoons and movies. So I figure I've got a talent for it that I could share with people if I was given the opportunity. Plus, I like making people laugh at my seemingly endless weird voices.
My Training
Aside from general practice, I think the experience that would most appropriately qualify as my training for voice characterization was my attendance at a special arts high school for musical performance. My specialty was jazz trumpet. As part of our curriculum, we were required to attend special vocal training courses in order to enhance our knowledge of music theory and also to continuously enhance mouth and breath control. These abilites are vital to altering the vocal parameters, specifically for purposes of voice characterization.

Additional Skills
I love TV and movies, so I'm always watching and I'm always practicing. I think I could do an amazing job at voice over work, I just need to be given to opportunity to showcase my ability.
