My Voice Experience
Speaking with my Southern voice has been a life-long activity. The ability to attract attention and then to gain respect through the use of my voice is a gift for which I am grateful.
People recognize the sound of my voice easily and comment on a regular basis that they enjoy hearing me speak.
To use my voice professionally is not a lifelong ambition, but it sounds like fun. This registration is a way of exploring possibilities in this area.
My Training
Training, listed specifically as 'voice over' is not found on my resume. However, life itself can be an excellent teacher.
I've a B.S. and Master's Degree with experience in teaching elementary, high school and college level students. I've participated in staged productions
of fiction and musicals. My activity with church music and a group from college which accepted invitations to perform gave my voice a
chance to exercise variations in presentation.
I have written and delivered speeches and have taught others to do the same.
I tend to think that voiceover activities would be enjoyable, interesting, and another accomplishment in my personal life.

Additional Skills
I'm a mother and a hands-on grandmother who has been successful in using my voice coupled with facial expression to influence the behavior of my most loved people. Spanking was all but non- existent because the voice instilled the desire to behave correctly. I've been a teacher where the voice was responsible for creating interest in whatever subject was being taught at the moment.
I've been in public service areas where the voice had to calm tempers and sooth emotions.
The voice hasn't aged but remains that of an adult southern female who has no difficulty in expression.
To actually put the voice to work in the public domain for all to hear would be such fun and possibly beneficial for someone.
