My Voice Experience
I was a radio and TV newsreporter for over 30 years. As such I've narrated stories on everything from murders to politics to travel destinations and celebrity interviews. For 15 years I reported feature news and so I've covered literally thousands of stories that require a lighter delivery. Name a subject matter and I've done a story on it.
My Training
I began doing radio news/deejaying/commercials at my hometown station in Pennsylvania as a teenager. I moved to television in the Air Force with Armed Forces Radio/TV in Florida, Italy and Pakistan. Upon discharge I covered local news at WTAJ-TV and WFBG-Radio in Altoona PA. For the past 25 years I've covered local news, mostly features for which I am rather well-known, at WTVD-TV in Raleigh-Durham NC. I have won numerous journalism awards including an Emmy.
I have a BA in International Politics and Foreign Service from Penn State and have traveled extensively around the world.
