My Voice Experience
My voiceover work experience started in 1985 and I've continued off and on every since. Recorded audiobooks (science) for Recording for the Blind in Hollywood, CA for two years. Read newspapers for Voice of the Peninsula in Yorktown, VA for a year and a half for reading-impaired listeners. Experienced with documentary video narration, audiobooks and radio commercials. Was a radio program co-host for an entertainment talk show that featured music and interviewed artists. Served as emcee for a televised (cable) unveiling of a new musical instrument and for several videorecorded events.
My Training
BS in Biology from the University of Southern California. Learned about voiceover work "on the job" while doing volunteer reading of science books for Recording for the Blind.
