I have so much Energy and Enthusiasm that folks could not help but feel the passion for good news and entertainment. I have used many of the buzzwords that one might want to hear however, that only describes a portion of my skills and personality. I am a 5 foot zero, female who has the sparkle, individuality, spunk, and structure to complement your program. My voice and charisma are what you need for new ventures. I have been told that I “I bring pizzazz to functions that would otherwise be drab and make rooms that were already “brightly lit” shine even more.” Corny – sure; Accurate – in my humble.
I have commentated and narratee various workshops, training videos, and commercial spots for years. I understand this line of work is not just “fun and games,” therefore, I sincerely respect the importance and value associated with a television and voice talent that demonstrates professionalism and excellence.
Let me give you a few more examples of my hosting and voice over experience. I had the opportunity to be interviewed with a few colleagues like Buddy Holly, John Lennon, Janis Joplin, and Elvis on Show Me St. Louis. The interview stemmed around a program at the Hard Rock Café called the Icons of the Hard Rock. This was a music impersonator show similar to that of the Legends in Vegas. I performed as Donna Summer and Emceed that entire show each weekend during the summer causing me to interact with audiences from all over the world and from all age groups. Since that time, we have performed at all the Casinos in the area and in most of the major hotels. I am also a jazz vocalist and just returned from performing in Las Vegas. I have dabbled in acting as well. I had the honor to star in local performances as Dorothy (Diana Ross starred in the motion picture) in the musical The Wiz and as a supporting actor in the musical Footloose. The above mentioned programs included presentations, interviews, and/or performances in front of cameras, large to small crowds, and impromptu occasions. I was also an on-air personality for a smooth jazz station, i.e., WSSM 106.5 and anticipate returning to the newly changed format of the ARCH or moving into the Smooth Jazz Sunday segment at Clear Channel (104.9) in the summer. My current position as an educator and my work as a jazz singer and actor would only complement this exciting position.
I bring years of audience participation, impromptu experience, voice over talent, and program design:
Television and Radio Announcer - Narration/Commentary/Voice Over/Training Video/Commercial
MC and Host (audiences up to 5,000)- College professor - Entertainer – Singer and Actor (audiences up to 5,000)- Training: Marketing, Business Development, Communication, & Diversity - Community Volunteer – Modeling
I feel comfortable speaking in front of groups of people; I am a great ad libber (which especially is needed to do anything LIVE) and am able to develop a rapport quite quickly with diverse populations.
