My Voice Experience
During my 24 years as an on air radio personality I have done thousands of commercials in every style including warm and fuzzy, hard sell and testimonial. I love being able to put my acting skills to work, adding to the layers of radio's "theater of the mind". I have been the exclusive radio and TV voice for a local farm market as well as done on-hold phone messages for a local medical lab. I am the voice that greets you with event information when you call the Historic Everett Theatre in Middletown, Delaware.
My Training
As the TV character Ted Baxter used to say "it all started in the small 3000 watt radio station..." Most of my career has been doing middays and doubling as Production Director. In the last 24 years I have honed my vocal and writing skills through continual work, performing in local musical theater, serving as editor of a monthly newsletter and doing freelance work for the local Comcast affiliate. I have attended commercial seminars in NYC with Dick Orkin and the Famous Radio Ranch, and in Washington D.C. with Roy Williams.

Additional Skills
I feel my musical abilities add quite a bit to my voice over work because it helps with the tempo of a commercial and when creating and editing music beds. I always consider the listeners feelings and their ultimate reaction and action to my voiceover. We want them to DO something with the information we're presenting and I try to make that happen.
