My Voice Experience

Growing up, my four siblings always gave me a great and captive audience. From a very early age, they would constantly beckon me to "do the funny voice!" I enjoyed doing those funny voices so much that I easily gravitated towards the theatre.

I am a character actor. Having trained as a classical actor, Shakespeare's clownish characters attracted me the most. Then as a professional I sharpened my ability to create diverse, outlandish and endearing characters. My true passion is improvisation and sketch comedy.

My Training

Don attended the High School for the Performing and Visual Arts in Houston, Tx. Upon graduation, he became involved with the OCC Repertory Theatre Company in Orange County, Ca. There, he studied stage directing and performed in many productions as well. This experience led to The London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art and completed the Post Graduate Acting Program. In Los Angeles, Don has studied at The Beverly Hills Playhouse with Milton Katselas, Rick Podel and Allen Barton.

My Studio Equipment

Don produces much of his voice work in his own studio facility and uses only the highest quality equipment such as Presonus, MXL, Audio-Technica, KRK and Mogami to name a few.

Additional Skills

As a writer, I specialize in sketch character and comedy writing. Having run my own Promotional Event and Advertising Firm, I have much experience in writing and editing advertising content as well and have close relationships with editorial professionals that always ensure professional polish.
