My Voice Experience

I have maintained a home recording studio for twenty years, mostly for music composition purposes, and for recording my voice for presentations, stories and poetry.

Many people have commented on the high quality of my voice, and so I have decided to offer voice over services. Since I have limited voice job experience, I will be extra accommodating. Non-profit organizations and beneficial projects with limited budgets may appreciate my flexibility.

I use a Shure SM58 mic plugged into an Apogee duet which provides two channels of professional-quality 24-bit/96kHz audio input and output. This is feed into a Mac running Logic Pro 8. I can format audio output to whatever you wish.

I have a scientific education, forty years of technology experience, a large speaking vocabulary, and world travel experience.

Many people have told me my voice is articulate, deep and pleasant. A humanities professor loves the way I read my poetry to him, so I can emote with empathy and control phrasing and pauses to good effect.

This is probably not germane, but FYI, I have also mastered chess, billiards, computers, the internet, and I have read a thousand books and seen a thousand movies. I have lived in Maui, Hawaii for the last eleven years.
