Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects

I have an excellent ear for accents, so I can produce quick turnaround even on an accent I haven't been asked to do before.

I have done accented English using many styles, including Southeastern US, Northeastern US, American high-society power-brokers, and American low-income working stiffs. Internationally, I have done British accents from the lowest cockney to adjutants to the Royal Family. I have done Italian, Indian, Australian, Chinese, and Japanese.

I believe an accent is an aspect of character. I rarely use exactly the same accent even for two characters from the same region.

My Voice Experience

I've been doing amateur stage work for nearly thirty years, primarily in character roles of all ages.

I have appeared in a feature-length independent film called Progressive Dinner as well as a short indie film called "The Junk Drawer."

In addition, my voice has been used as a narrator/guide for a multimedia system installed at NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Alabama.
