My Voice Experience

I worked in radio and television from 1979 to 1996 reporting and anchoring the news. The last 9 years I worked for KPRC radio in Houston, Texas and anchored the morning drive news cast the last 2 years there. I have also written and recorded commercial spots for radio and have done voice over work for television. In addition, I worked as a producer for Channel Two News in Houston. My background includes public speaking and live, remote radio broadcasts.

My Studio Equipment

The studio I use is owned and operated by a comercial TV audio engineer with 38 years of experience.
His equiptment ranges from MXL condensers to RCA and Shure dynamic microphones.
His mixing board is digital and the booth is soundproof. The video recorder is a JVC MV 45.
Audio and video editing software programs are also available. Older format recording devices are available. Delivery methods include wave files, Mp3 files, DVD, and CD.
The facility has the ability to compose and track original music.

Additional Skills

I have a background in Veterinary medicine and animal husbandry, working as a Registered Veterinary Technician in an animal emergency clinic through high school. I also have a strong background in agriculture as I grew up on a farm and raised show animals.

I am a licensed pilot and have worked the last 12 years in aviation marketing. I worked as the Marketing Director and Promotions manager for a company that used a race plane to promote ExxonMobil aviation oil. My job included writing and producing print and broadcast copy and conducting press conferences and PR events at air shows across the country.

My hobbies include skydiving, gardening, reading and fishing.
