Voice Description

My voice is warm, friendly, and somewhere between deep and midrange. Ironically, my singing range is Tenor, and I do sing in the "Origin Choir"- we have performed at the Hollywood Bowl for the last 4 years at the Easter Sunrise Service. I do a very good Elvis voice when singing his songs, although I could sing other songs in Elvis' voice.
I would also say my voice is smooth and professional, and I can read with feeling or very clinically, as the situation requires.

I don't have accents or dialects but can sound like a number of singers, such as Neil Diamond or Bobby Hatfield from the Righteous Brothers.

My Voice Experience

I have done vice over in Videos I produced. From 1989 to 2000, I worked in Television as a camerman, including 3 years at Manhattan Center Studios in the mid to late 90's. I have access to cameras still, and do my Video Editing at home in Adobe Premiere 2.0, using Adobe Audition 2.0 for audio work. My wife Nancy is fully Bilingual and does excellent translation. You can submit a script to her in English and she will translate perfectly into Spanish, or vice-versa. She has done many hours of simultaneous translation at large public events,
including events where her voice was heard in multiple locations in many different Spanish speaking countries at the same time, via satellite, and more recently through the internet.

Additional Skills

As a Videographer and a lover of films, I'm well aware of how much the soundtrack means to a project. Voice, music, sound effects - and the quality of the final mix itself - all add to the success of a project. Sound proceeds image (in the beginning was the word), and a good editor will often lead into his next scene with audio before the cut actually occurs, as Walter Murch often did in his work with Francis Ford Coppola. Music too, sets the emotional tone of an important scene, and the choosing of it can make or break a project.
