20 years experience in all facets of advertising and production.

I've written and produced hundreds of regional Radio and TV spots and given voice to many more. I've worked as a stage actor, a freelance avid editor, a graphic designer, and have directed numerous short films which have screened at festivals across the country.

This technical background makes turnaround reliable and quick. And my experience with the dense language of playwrights like Shakespeare, Moliere and Shaw makes even the most complicated subjects sound CLEAR when I read for the average listener.

My Voice Experience

As a result, I have done alot of medical, technical, scientific, financial and corporate recordings, as well as training videos and long format audio books.

I also have a great facility for period language, and have voiced many characters from previous centuries and for Biblical DVDs.

In broadcast commercials and game recordings, I've done everything from bigger than life character voices, to the average guy next door.

My Training

My career in voiceovers began when I was working part time as a copy writer for an advertising agency. The voice talent we'd booked got stuck in traffic on the way to the session. So the owner of the agency put me behind the mic and I've been doing it ever since.

I was an English major at the College of William & Mary and spent a year at the University of Exeter in the U.K.

As a stage actor, I've appreared in leading roles in some of the best theatres in the country including: The New York Shakespeare Festival, The Lincoln Center Theatre, Chicago's Goodman Theatre and LA's Mark Taper Forum.

My Studio Equipment

My West Los Angeles studio is soundproofed and Auralex treated.

I have a Neumann mic with Mackie onyx preamps and record on an Intel Core Duo MAC with both Logic Pro and Soundtrack Pro 2.

I can arrange and mix royalty-free music and sound effects as needed for your project.
