My Voice Experience

so many voice talent stories are the same. why not take a little of his and some of hers and add a bit of mine and poof! you got it.
years of voice projects have me amassing national credits and regional and local repeat clients, some folks knocking from across the pond, and possibilities all over the world. frankly, i relish all types of voiceover, from phone systems to spots and promos for commercial broadcast to flash demos on the world wide web.

My Training

it's the usual story: girl goes to high school, girl goes to college. girl graduates with a bachelors degree in government. girl works at an alternative college in southern vermont, recruiting the "right match" students. there was a spell as clerk and shelf-stocker at a health food store, using mellifluous tones to talk about vitamins and the like. as an airbrusher at a kids clothing company, boy! did we have jokes to share across the work spaces. see where i'm going here? the path to d3 voiceworks is paved with varied experience. and i've not gotten to the radio gigs yet!
for me, voiceover is what's happening now, today, the flavuh du jour. so what i've done or what i might do are less important than what you want me to do. today.
i've got a range and resonance that is definitely different than the average female voice talent. i can be edgy, authoritative, quirky, completely natural, totally over-the-top. i'm highly directable, have years of experience in most types of VO, and consider myself the consummate pro. and i'm smart and savvy and have a lot of direct experience in media, so ... i get it.
