Voice Description

I have a rich and resonant voice with the flexibility to present scripts as required. Being trained as a musician and educator, and spending many years in community theatre as a music director, I can shape my voice and delivery in many ways to suit the material I'm presenting. I can sound authoritative, exciting, mischievious, inviting, or matter-of-fact as the occasion warrants.

My Voice Experience

I have used my voice in many ways, but have never done voice-over work.

My Training

I have a Bachelor of Music Education degree. I have sung in choirs for 45 years and played in bands for 40 years. I have acted or directed for many years. I have no training or experience in voice-overs, but a leading voice-over talent in my home area, Willem Lange, has suggested often that my talents could be put to good use in the voice-over field.

My Studio Equipment

I have a PC, Audacity software and a Logitech headset.

Additional Skills

I have lived in Korea, central Africa and the Middle East, so I have a keen ear for subtleties of language and speech. I read aloud Scripture during services.
